The Care Agency and the Royal Gibraltar Police have signed a further Memorandum of Understanding for the protection of adults under the Agency’s care in the rare event that these adults are displaying behaviour that may require police involvement.

This year’s Christmas Festival of Lights, organised by the Gibraltar Cultural Services, for the Ministry of Culture and the Gibraltar Electricity Authority will be held on Friday 24th November 2017 at John Mackintosh Square.
The Gibraltar Port Authority (GPA) successfully dealt with a small oil spill on Wednesday 8 November 2017 at approximately 4pm. The small spill occurred between two vessels, the C Rock and St George, who were transferring bunkers when a small overspill occurred.

Celebrating Gibraltar’s culture, faiths and unique heritage is a part of the Gibunco Gibraltar International Literary Festival. This year Moroccan writer Ahmed Boukhobza joins the Festival line-up. Mr Boukhobza will deliver a talk centred on Al Andaluz on Sunday 19th November at 10.00am in the John Mackintosh Hall.
