The Jellyfish nets at Eastern Beach and Catalan Bay have been removed for repairs after the recent spell of strong easterly winds which has caused some damage. 

The Department of the Environment’s Maintenance Team and contractors are working to repair and re-deploy the nets as soon as possible. This essential work protects the nets from further damage and prevents them from washing ashore and causing further problems.  

The Department apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the public for their understanding.
