HM The Ministry of Transport and the Gibraltar Bus Company are pleased to announce the commencement of a beach shuttle service which will start as from Tuesday 15th July 2025 and up until 31st August.
The ‘Beach Bus' will depart from Europa Point bus stop, travelling along Europa Advance Road and servicing all bus stops up to and including Hassan Centenary Terraces, making stops to access Sandy Bay, Catalan Bay and Eastern Beach.
It will then return to Europa Point via Europa Advance Road servicing all bus stops along the way. The shuttle will stop at Black Strap Cove for Sandy Bay passengers who wish to catch this bus to return to Europa Point.
The service will commence from Europa Point at midday until 3:30pm and restart at 4:30pm until 7pm.
Beach-goers can either park at Europa Point or take Bus No 2 to Europa Point and change there. The public is encouraged to consider this service before using their private vehicles to go to the beach. This will alleviate parking issues and reduce pollution.
