During her investiture, Her Worship the Mayor, Kaiane Aldorino Lopez GMH announced that Ms Morley, on behalf of Beauty with a Purpose and the Miss World Organisation, had kindly donated ten thousand US dollars for the Mayor to use towards children in need in Gibraltar.
Her Worship took this opportunity to donate a number of items to both St Martin’s School and the Rainbow Ward at St Bernard’s Hospital. These items included wheelchairs, trampolines, outdoor sensory pads and iPads.
During the presentation, Her Worship expressed that Beauty with a Purpose was the heart of Miss World and it had been a privilege for her to have witnessed first-hand the incredible humanitarian work it had achieved across the world.
With the donation, Her Worship was able to bring together her involvement with Beauty with a Purpose and her current position as Mayor of Gibraltar through a charitable gesture and believed this was an amazing way to link two of her great recognitions.
