Ongoing Repairs to Main Sewer at Line Wall Road

The Infrastructure and Sewers Section of Technical Services Department says that it wishes to inform the public that it will resume excavation works at Line Wall Road, by the junction with John Mackintosh Square, to repair other defects identified during the unblocking of the Main Sewer. Therefore, as from 16:00 hrs on Saturday 28 January 2012 until midnight on Sunday 29 January 2012, the northbound lane will be closed to vehicular traffic. Southbound vehicular traffic flow along Line Wall Road will remain at all times. Temporary road works signs will also be placed on the approach to the works area to guide drivers through the site. Drivers should note that speed control measures such as traffic ramps will be placed near the excavation.

Works will continue during the week but two-way vehicular traffic flow will be restored during this time.
